Create your own Christmas cards on our festive themed card printing workshop. 

You’ll carve your own lino printing block and learn how to use the inks, tools and equipment to make lino printed cards. Perfect to send your friends and family a unique handmade card this Christmas!

What experience do I need?

This is an introduction to the lino printing technique. The workshop is aimed at complete beginners, no experience is necessary.

What will I make?

You will produce an edition of at least 10-15 hand printed Christmas cards and will take these away along with envelopes. You’ll also be able to take your carved lino piece away with you to continue printing with at home if you wish.

Who is my tutor?

Henny Clark studied Surface Pattern Design at CCAD in 2011. She holds an NVQ Teaching Qualification and has delivered, assessed, and verified adult learning programmes in recognized Royal Society of Arts Centres. Primarily a printmaker and textile designer she also works with ceramics and other mixed media. ..

Do I need to bring anything?

All materials and equipment will be provided, this will include lino, inks, carving tools and card to print on. If you have any of your own card or paper you’d like to print on feel free to bring this along.

Important Details
18.00 -21.00. Group size is limited to 8 people, to give you plenty of space to work in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. There will be opportunities to ask questions throughout the session. Please arrive for the session at 17:45 for a cup of tea or coffee and introductions. The workshop will finish 21.00, but please note that times may vary depending on the speed at which you work. Teas and coffees are provided throughout the evening. 

All classes take place at 2shedstudios, Broughton, Malton, YO17 6QG. Parking is available at the studio
